Since 2023, I have served as Chair of the Standing Committee of the European Summer School in Logic, Language and Information (ESSLLI) and as a member of the Board of the Association for Logic, Language and Information (FoLLI). In this role, I help coordinate one of Europe’s largest and longest-running summer schools dedicated to advancing education and research at the intersection of Logic, Linguistics, Computer Science, and Cognitive Science. Each year, in a different European city, ESSLLI brings together around 400 researchers and students for two weeks of intensive courses and academic exchange.
My outreach activities extend to expert consulting and advisory work in linguistics, cognitive science, and related fields. In 2022, I provided an expert opinion in litigation concerning the linguistic processing of signs. I have collaborated with a consulting firm on diagnosing trust levels in organizations, applying methods from behavioral game theory. I have also served as an external evaluator for the new Cognitive Science master’s program at the University of Warsaw, and as an advisor to the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education on the evaluation of journals and conference proceedings in linguistics (2019). I am open to further collaborations and consulting engagements within these areas of expertise.
I was interviewed by Adam Omary for his podcast The Nature & Nurture. We talked about some of my research on logic, language, computation, and cognition. You can listen to the resulting podcast episode here.
